Wanha Kasino was built in 1896 as a center of entertainment and social life for spa visitors Restaurant was a favorite spot of opera diva Aino Ackté, who was often seen at Kasino’s grand celebrations over the years.

This beautiful old wooden building still serves as a restaurant today. With its rich history of entertainment, skillfully crafted dishes, and a team dedicated to service, Wanha Kasino invites you to celebrate life – cheers! We are open during various events and holidays, 3.7.-1.8.2026, as well as during intermissions of Savonlinna Theater and Savonlinnasali concerts. At other times, we are open for group reservations.
