Situated at the side of Puolala Park, the legendary Suomalainen Pohja restaurant might be a mystery for many people but is like a second home to associations and organizations in Turku.

For a long time, the restaurant has primarily served as a banqueting venue for events, but now with the new restaurateur, Jani Hellström, is up for a new direction. The restaurant has two floors. The entrance hall on the first floor will lead to five private dining rooms. The main dining hall in the upper floor offers a distinctive yet classical ambience with white tablecloths and wide windows opening to a beautiful view of the Puolala Park and the Turku Art Museum. The main hall can host more than 100 diners at a time. The Suomalainen Pohja restaurants serves classical Scandinavian cuisine in a modern style using traditional Scandinavian raw ingredients.
