This is a district well-known for local people making the most of their time with friends and family. Naturally, this often includes enjoying a delicious meal. They are Janno Lepik and Kristjan Peäske, a chef and a sommelier already well-known from the ‘Leib’ and ‘Umami’ restaurants. At LORE, they offer a tempting and eclectic menu, featuring good old comfort-food classics with a new twist. For sharing with others, they also present exciting dishes offering novel culinary delights, inspired by the gourmet tours they have experienced on our travels around the world. Most of their dishes are prepared in a wood-fired oven and they understand the need to blend simplicity, familiarity, warmth and authenticity. They highly value the family experience, so children are always especially welcome. For our little friends, they have compiled a special menu and a play area exclusively for them, packed with amusing games and art supplies. They also cater for the needs of the tiniest family members by making baby purées. You could say then that hospitality is in their DNA. So, why share a dish?
