FAMO Metro is the third restaurant in the Famo family, which consists of Famo Saxo onVesterbro, Famo Carne onGl. Kongevej. The trinity was founded byMorten Kaltoft and Fabbio Mazon. Both have admirable resumes in the restaurant industry. Morten Kaltoft also runs Osteria 16, Spaghetteria, Pizzeria 54 and the Italian grocer MERCATO alongside Emil Alsbo. Fabbio Mazon is a former head chef at the renownedMichelin-starred restaurant Era Ora. The staff at FAMO Carne are, therefore, highly trained in creating memorable dining experiences. The wine list is broad with a red sea of bottleshand-pickedfrom some of the country's most competent importers. The wine list offers wines both from more reputable brands as well as from smaller, organic producers worth checking out. Naturally, you will mainly find wines from Italy - especially the areas ofTuscany and Piedmont, where the Brunello and Barolo wines come from.
