Shang Shi is an exclusive Cantonese (Southern Chinese) restaurant that opened in August 2024, where ancient recipes and traditions are transformed into a fresh, exciting experience for today’s gourmets.

Located in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town at Rataskaevu 5, the restaurant resides in a beautifully restored historic building from 1878. In Chinese culture, it has always been believed that food brings people together and evokes genuine gratitude. At Shang Shi, which translates to "royal feast," guests are presented with refined flavors and elegant rituals of the past, reimagined in a modern form, taking them on an unforgettable gastronomic journey. Shang Shi lives up to its name, offering a first-class dining experience with dishes like dim sum, Peking duck, and char siu.Shang Shi is the first restaurant in Estonia where you can enjoy authentic Peking duck. The restaurant’s drink and wine selection is extensive and focused on Asian flavors, including Chinese vintage wines. Their wine list has also been recognized by the Star Wine List, which awarded it the White Star. Shang Shi's private dining room, with a beautifully hand-painted 15th-century ceiling, provides a memorable setting for private events.
