Farang is the first born of the BW-Restaurants and it opened in 2009.

Farang serves modern, fresh and intense South East Asian flavours with a personal and warm service. In the beginning of February 2020, Farang moved to an impressive 2-story location in Arkadiankatu 6. Farang serves authentic Asian flavours, just the way they were meant to be served. Farang’s food philosophy is based on fresh ingredients, artisanal cooking, a vast knowledge of South East Asian cuisine and above all, for the love of food! Everything is prepared slowly from scratch, respecting the authentic, aromatic flavour harmonies of spicy, salty, sour and sweet. All dishes are designed to be shared. The wine menu is extensive and includes options from all wine producing continents. The sommeliers have hand-picked wines from small biodynamic artisanal producers and well-known and celebrated wineries. Farang Bar on the ground level is a perfect spot to start and finish your evening with world class cocktails. The cocktail menu reflects Asian flavours and has many non-alcoholic choices as well.
