We are a summer café/restaurant opened in 2014 on the shores of Hernesaari.

Our café highlights modern wooden architecture, and our walls feature a deep charcoal black color. The building was designed by the architecture and design firm Talli. On our sunny terrace you can enjoy sea views, and on cooler days you can warm yourself by the fireplace or snuggle up under a cozy blanket. We offer a comfortable, maritime atmosphere that you’ll sense the moment you step inside. Our grill is hot from morning till night! All dishes are prepared on a handcrafted Mibrasa charcoal grill from Spain, which preserves the ingredients’ juiciness and gives them a smoky, charcoal-grilled flavor. We’re a dog-friendly café, so pets are more than welcome at Birgitta.
